After today I no longer have Mr. Schick’s class. It
is a very sad today. However, the introduction to Mr. Schick’s Western Civilization
class seems very interesting. It is very similar to the way he introduced Human
Geography. First he told us about his love for Google. He talked about Google
and told us about how influential it is in today’s society. He is right. Google
does run the world. Most people in the world use Google as their main search
provider. Nobody uses Bing. Google designs smartphones, tablets and other
electronic gear. To summarize Google standings in the world, you can’t talk
about the technology era (90’s era to 2012) without talking about Google. Also Mr.
Schick explained his blog and talked about how it works. He talked about how
and when we should design our blog, things that we should add to our blog and
other various things. Like always, Mr. Schick added humor to the class that
made the classroom very interesting and funny. To sum it up this class has been
very interesting so far and I am a little sad that I have to leave.
